Bali Experiences Major Blackout, PLN Working on Recovery
Bali experiences a blackout today, and at the time of this post’s release, PLN, the Indonesian electricity provider, said, “Just 30 minutes after the blackout, we have recovered 50% of the power and are continuing to restore more.”
The blackout caused disruptions at public transportation hubs, such as Ngurah Rai Airport, and many people reported their homes were still without power at the time of this report.
As of now, PLN does not know the cause of the blackout, but hundreds of PLN workers are working to identify the issue.
